Has anyone here sought treatment for themselves (as the parent) for Secondary PTSD?  I am experiencing all but one symptom (listed in Nancy Thomas' book) of SPTSD and am thinking I need to seek therapy but I'm not even sure where to start.  We are receiving intense services for our oldest son (RAD, ADHD and Mood Disorder NOS) which includes in-home family therapy.  This does not however, cover individual family members.  We are now discovering our younger son has way more issues than we originally thought (seems 8 years old is the magic age for our boys to "fall off the deep end. With 2 boys carrying a mixed bag of diagnoses and exibiting BIG symptoms of these (not to mention a 7 month stay for our now 9 year old son in RTC), I am experiencing the effects of 6 years of trauma in parenting these little boys.
